To get the best results, you are advised to prepare a mix of peppermint oil with extra-virgin olive oil. The preparation would give you far better results.

Sipping Peppermint Tea: While sipping peppermint tea is advantageous if you are suffering from irritable bowel syndrome, it can also help treat headache. Inhale the vapors coming out from the peppermint leaves. This would work from the inside and help you get rid of tension headache.

Steam Treatment: If your headache is a result of blocked or inflamed sinuses then you can use peppermint oil to treat the headache and its cause. Topical application of peppermint oil can help treat it. However, the best way is to add a few drops of peppermint oil to a bowl of boiling water and then inhale its vapors.
